  • Michael HUGHES, age 46 : I am married to Anna Racka with three school-age children. As an environmental engineer, I have worked in the waste, energy, transport and trade sectors. I was apolitical for a long time, but I have come to appreciate the long-term vision and humanism of the "dei GrĂ©ng". European by nature, I have always followed the progress that still needs to be made in the use of waste as a source of raw material. Our commune also has the potential to produce its own renewable energy. This country can become an example to follow, reconciling economy and environment.
